Charles Walker
Charles Walker is a seasoned gospel artist, musician, and performer whose life in music began at home in Houston, Texas. Raised in a faith-centered family, Walker was introduced to music at an early age by his father, a guitarist and vocalist who formed a family group with Charles and his two younger brothers. Performing as The Walker Brothers, the trio traveled extensively, ministering through music and sharing stages with gospel greats including The Mighty Clouds of Joy, John P. Kee, and The Blind Boys of Mississippi.
Walker's musical foundation was further strengthened through formal training. After receiving instruments as children, he and his brothers pursued private lessons, with Charles focusing on guitar. His dedication earned him a scholarship to the prestigious Berklee College of Music in Boston, where he refined his craft and expanded his musical range.
After two years at Berklee, a visit to Los Angeles became a defining turning point in his career. Walker was offered the opportunity to join the legendary Mighty Clouds of Joy — a role he held for eight years. During that time, he toured nationally and internationally, performing for diverse audiences and deepening his impact as both a musician and minister.
Today, Charles Walker brings decades of experience, spiritual conviction, and musical excellence to every stage. His work reflects a lifelong commitment to faith, artistry, and the transformative power of gospel music.
